It's just a laid-back DisneyWorld for Adults, where nobody know's you, you can cut loose, and do ya thing and mostly people let you do ya thing. It's like taking a giant valium and entering a but at the same time you have to keep your wits about you, because among all the apparent laidbackness is the potential to get shafted, in more ways than one. But overall, millions of men visit to have a good time.

Lived in Thailand twice and visited Pataya many times. If you are street smart and don’t get set up by one of the ladies, you should be ok. Some foreigners have been killed there. I always visit with a partner. Koh Samui is much prettier, but I prefer Soi Nana and Soi Cowboy, never had a problem!
