I've rarely taken the time to comment on YT videos, but I have to say, your channel helps me out so much. Especially this video. Thanks a ton, man!

Joe you make finding a job easy as can be. You literally point us to the direction. If we can't get a job then it'll be failure on our part. Not you

Took your advice for Indeed, plenty of jobs. Only thing is my demographics is that Sydney is a huge area. A suburb on one side of Sydney can take 2 hours to commute to the other side of Sydney. Driving is half the time, but then you have to pay for expensive parking/ But very good tips on job searches. I get job interviews all the time. We have one of the worst public transport systems in the world. Most Tech jobs are in North and I live in the South West.

But When it takes 4 to 5 hours commuting to get to the interview and back, not including the interview time itself etc.. it's a huge turn off, especially being a sole parent to young children I will most probably have to relocate eventually. Bite the bullet try and travel, save some money then move closer.

The travel time is way to much, leave before kids leave for school and get back 4 hours after they finish. What kind of parent would I be? I dont have any family, that live nearby to ask for help. That is my biggest hurdle the travel times and kids.

Thank you for your video. I live in a small town and there's nothing around here unfortunately. Do you have any advice for someone that wants to get an entry level job but can't move just yet?

I'm learning and trying to get my skills up but I'm thinking ahead and worried I won't get out of my 15, 000 population area. It's pretty dead out here, not just in tech but in general. I feel stuck and people telling me "go to a meetup" doesn't work when there's no meetups for 100 miles.

That analyst job probably requires knowing one of those languages good enough to analyze other people's code so it may require some experience, maybe they just need another set of eyes on the code though so anyone should def still apply

In a way, jr devs at least here in NYC make 80 close to 90K fresh out cuz thats the average for a jr dev that isnt at one of these top tech companies like FAANG, Uber, Twitter, Lyft, etc who on average pay anywhere from 110 to 125K base salary for rookie devs. But I wouldnt go below the city average which is like over 85K but positions over 100K be competitive cuz ppl want that high pay fresh out. It makes sense for where I am cuz NYC/NJ is expensive and it isn't a lot to live on especially after taxes. For me, Thats the floor cuz I seen plenty of 50K/60K jobs that have too long of laundry lists or wish lists which tells me this is a bad job. But good video bro

Great video, Joe. I have a question, though: Why don't the companies have problem with you leaving your current job after three months? Any where else I've ever worked, that would be a red flag.

Best bet is to move Dev jobs in fla pay very low. Compared ti other states

Hey Joe, what about stackoverflow jobs? A lot companies only post there due to the technical nature of the website and the type of developers it will attract
