It always baffles me that the hypogamy narrative pushed is that a man who loves you and a man who makes enough to provide for you are mutually exclusive. You can have both, and a man who loves you wouldn’t permanently put you in a role reversal position. Auntie here. I don't have the money that Mary J and the other celebrities have but I have experience in role reversal leveling down dating and I'm here to tell you, I DOES NOT I wish I could say that I experienced it only once but I must say the result was always the same. I began to resent them and they took out their insecurities by cheating usually with a woman with less money that provided boost to their financial ego. I think Tyler was trying to help women but he spoke without taking stock of his experiences. Are these women that he knows of really happy? When a woman becomes the provider for the family she's taking on one of two roles. She's either becoming the masculine role in the relationship or she's becoming the surrogate mother to a dusty. Real men are the providers and protectors of the relationship. I agree with Ms. Chloe. I have made the big mistake of playing both roles in my relationships with men.
