I've never used furniture polish, but only soapy water (like Chris Fix) with melamine sheets, followed by Oakley's glass cleaning spray.

13:15 how is using thermal paste on the chip to the left of the CPU, many people actually paste both, haven't yet heard that being an issue.

I just bought one of these off eBay as well. Unfortunately, I went with the 8GB version, and despite finding all kinds of information on upgrading soldered RAM in MacBooks, I cannot find anything on doing it with these. There are motherboards with 16GB available on eBay for about the same amount I paid for the laptop, so I might end up buying one of those if I find my machine swapping a lot.
