I know how to say it correctly, but it's just more fun to pronounce it, "Las-og-na."

L'aahh-sahgg-nahh is how I said it when I first read the word as a child.
In Icelandic the accent/emphasis is usually on the first syllable of each word.
Now I say it "properly" 🤭
That being said I enjoyed your different ways of saying it.

Kind regards from Iceland

I went in the wrong thought direction, because I imagined Pepsiman delivering Pepsi to an Italian and slipping on a loose pizza piece and falling down a long flight of stairs. But I think there's no other way to pronounce it, either.

Is there another way of saying it that i don't know about

I have only ever hear lasagna mispronounced by adults doing it on purpose as a joke. It's bizarre to me that someone has run into so many people that Sparano didn't know how to pronounce it.

The word is pronounced Lasaña. If you know how to say the Spanish Ñ, you know how to say the Italian GN

I hate Italian food and lasagna is probably my least favorite food in the world aside from Mac & Cheese

It sounds completely different from how you spell it, you can't really blame some people for getting it wrong.

But then again, everyone eats lasagna, so they should learn how to say it at the very least.
