I'm new to collecting vinyl so I don't have super rare ones, but over the summer I was in Oregon at rockaway beach and took a stroll into a thrift shop and came across The Voice of Frank Sinatra (CL 6001) it was marked at $7.50 while the other records were .50¢. I saw on Discogs that it goes for $50+ (on the low side) and only 20 others have it. So I had to get it.

My rarest album is the Twenty One Pilots self titled CD. I got it for $43- it goes for easily $800 on ebay. I am so freaking lucky to have it.

If I don’t know the average price of a record while I’m holding it in the store, I refuse to check online prices while I’m there. In my opinion it’s so rude to comparison shop in what are basically all small businesses owned by the people behind the counter. You’re not in the store to buy music online, you’re there to find new music and support the brick and mortar record store. That’s just my opinion, do as you will.

I can't wait until Fall of next year when Glass Passenger will get it's 10th Anniversary reissue. That album is almost as good as EIT and double the price! I wish all band did this.

So the problem with my wantlist is, I have so much stuff on it, that my rare stuff doesn’t pop up. I need a second account just for rare stuff. I have a lot of albums on there, that are 2-3 dollars, so when I make a purchase I could just add it. Also I love LOVE that Jacks Mannequin album...it was literally my childhood
