Excellent tutorial. I like the way you take the time to explain "why" to do certain things, instead of just showing the "what" to type. I would love to see a version of this tutorial that uses TypeScript on the server side as well. I think it is important for the stack to continue to use the same language/flavor on both the client and server.

For some reason the js files in the app folder contain old code from the app.component. The js code is not getting updated with the component code. Can you tell how this can be overcome?

I am finding it difficult to understand the structure. If we already have html pages in the components why do we need views at all? Another question is that by default angular runs on 4200 port by using ng serve, When we create a project we have app.js in which we specify the port its going to use. And that port is different. So the angular part runs on 4200 and the backend part runs on a different port. I am having some trouble figuring that out.

excellent Tutorial, asked. In my case to run the server run: "node server.js" And to run the client "npm start", then each one runs on a different port, in my case 3000 and 3001, as I do to run together and at the same port ??. thank you very much and sorry for my English !!

Can this message be bound with some mistakes in MongoDB? - it's working on port 27017 and mongod runned at C:\servers\data - I don't sure, maybe I should somehow connect it to my angular2-nodejs project Hope you or someone can help me with it )

It looks like a lot of work for a simple result. MEAN didin't convince me as a good choice once I can get the same result with much less codding and effort with almost any other approach, like using PHP and jQuery... The sample shown may had misleaded me, but that was what I got
