I feel so called out. When you asked what moves would I play in that position. My literally moves were Nf6, Qb6, and c5. Then you hit me with the "lower rated players will want to play these moves." feels bad man lol

Mate, your tips combined with your dry banter has made you my favourite chess content creator. Keep up the good work

The endgame instructions is amazing PLEASE keep doing that for basic endgames, rook endgames, bishop v bishop, bishop v knight, etc. there is very little good instruction out there about that given in a practical way. Everyone wants to come off as a super chess genius when giving endgame instructions and what would actually help people is just to keep it simple at first with these types of endgames and build up knowledge from there. another good video, thank you!

I love it! These little quiet moves that slowly improve the position is exactly what I need. The game that made Hans a GM was played using the same idea. His opponent resigned without taking a piece!

This video which is only nominally about the topic taught me more about playing the Caro-Kann than any of my previous resources, thanks!

As a current horrible chess player this currently helps me a lot! Keep up the amazing content bro this is gold. Ps. We are all your friends. Don't forget that!

What makes your channel fantastic is that you play the same two openings. One for white and one for black. This allows us chess plebs to learn how to play most of the variations.

Second. I love that you simplify the game. You just gently improve your position with obvious moves and force the opponent into the end game. Some players are too obsessed with playing offense and winning via check mate and have no idea how to win an end game while up a pawn.

Slow down. Reevaluate, and capitalize on simple advantages for the win

I lost it lol

15:44 is a perfect example of why making a loft is so critical. If no loft then back rank mate would have been a serious problem. Great video. Liked and subbed. :)

Unorthodox start and slow play are my favourites if I feel like climbing to ~1400. People bury themselves.

Sounds simple but really helps! My winning rate raised and my blunder rate decreased immediately. Also against stronger players. Thank you! Like your style!
