I love the idea that SSS warrior cats is an alternate universe with pseudo-superpowered cats and that WCanimated is the normal one, they both have things I love about each other and it makes me happy to see them interacting like this. I want to see WCA Smudge's reaction to SSS Smudge now :^D

Though I like the one from the animation I wish people would use his original colors more often. Just to change things up a bit. I grew up with that animation but I crave to see more of Longtail’s original colors. 👀

If I were to compare, which is all my opinion,
I think that the WCAnimated LongTail has better stripe placement and I like the art-style better. All the markings are well placed, and they fit the character- not to mention I really like the underbelly fur color they chose. Though, for the main body fur, I don't think the color is saturated enough. As for the eyecolor, in my opinion, it should be green- but y'know... It's my opinion. I don't really like the beard or hair tufty, but on the flip-side I adore the cheek and right-before shoulder fur.

As for the SSS LongTail, I like that it isn't too complicated, and I like that they made the fur color go on the warm and not cold side (Tan not brown) I also like the color of the stripes- making them black just made it Pop! The fur is nice- the head tuft is a bit extreme, though. Whilst the eyecolor IS green- it's not light enough and too shaded to stand out in a bright pelt-color and dark stripes that stand out. I also REALLY hate the color pick for the lighter parts. The white stood out too much vs the black, which in some characters, looks nice- but with the yellow, yellow, pelt color.. It made it kind of contradicting and annoying for my eyes.

So, if I were to compare, I think that SSS Warriors is a classic, though heavily stylized. If WCAnimated were to go up agents it, it would be new and fresh- but hard to compete with the nostalgia and classics the SSS Warriors gave to us. And to that I say, goodluck!
