Check out Ugreen's 1st Nexode 300W GaN Charger:

Alienware’s x16 is the thinnest gaming laptop with full powered RTX 4080 or 4090 that I’ve seen so far, but thinner creates other compromises you need to know about - and I’m not just talking about the price!

Imagine the price cut if there is non-RGB variant

Never understood this obsesson about making laptops as thin as possible. Just making it a tiny bit thicker would mean a much better cooling system.

Got mine at US$1653 with the 4080 config. This is my first alienware gaming laptop and the build quality of this laptop just, MIND BLOWING! the most solid gaming laptop chassis I've ever had.

Even tho i got my first gaming laptop, 2022 legion 5 because of your metecoulus reviews. I still visit your channel from time to time. Hoping to upgrade next 2 years based your recommendations.

One note to any potential buyers-you cant undervolt this despite it being a -HK chip. Not sure if Dell fixed it now or is planning to.

I got mine on sale. As someone who needed something portable, I love it- it’s super easy to carry around while still packing serious power. Getting it ~20% off, I think you can’t get anything better when it comes to price, build, power, and portability

Personally, depending on how bright the LEDs can get on the back, they can serve a rather practical purpose. If on a desk facing a wall, they could provide backlight to help reduce eye strain/fatigue when using the laptop in low lighting. Even if they are not bright enough to reduce eye strain/fatigue in the same scenario, it could project some nice mood lighting! Honestly, I would appreciate seeing this type of review included in your already meticulous overview (if you can find the additional time!).

Thank you for the amazing video! You just acquired another fan and subscriber!

They had a CRAZY $400 discount on this laptop back a while ago so I ordered one ASAP 😁 It's been shipped in the US and on its way to my country now...(I'm waiting, *PATIENTLY* )

In regards to the CC delay when opening, there was an update that launched within the last few weeks that addressed that and made changes to the load times, drastically reducing them. Chances are the machine came with the previous version and then you updated to the new one when you re-installed :)

The aesthetics are really nice no doubt. That RGB touchpad looks really cool. If that's what you're going for, it's a cool machine.

Literally watching this on an X16 - I love it. The RGB touchpad looks awesome in person. I also bought a Razer 16 but I hated the mini-LED and the edges on the build so I returned it. The Alienware is so much better - it's beautiful.

After Countless reviews between gaming laptops, after process of elimination, i narrowed my selection down to Razer blade 16 and Alienware X16. the deciding factor which tipped the scale was Dells impressive On-site repair if you find or see ANY defect from manufacture or by yourself. compared to Razers weeks on end waiting as per the Reddit community. Happy to say, This X16 is a BEAST. 13900HK, 32GB ram @ 6000Mhz with RTX4080, its running Starfield out the box no problem. If anyone is doubting this laptop, and don't carrying the charger everywhere you go, this laptop is for you. 90% of the time my X16 is always running on a 27 1440p panel.

I just got me a G18 4080. Bad boy is fast as a scolded ape and light for an 18in. Love it.

Battery saving functions are in the Bios, at least the ones that can limit the charge to a certain percentage and stuff ...

Hey Jarrod! Would you please do a review on the new Aleinware x14 R2 (2023)? I'd really like to hear how the new 13th gen Intel processors together with the RTX 4060 compares to other similarly specced laptops at 13 or 14 inches.
