Ben Simmons is out again with a nerve impingement in his back and will be away from the Brooklyn Nets. He has been a big disappointment this year even when Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were on the team. His lack of confidence to shoot the ball has been the biggest of his issues. Who knows if playing a long side another star such as Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant have gotten into his pysche to perform like the old Ben Simmons from the Philadelphia 76ers when he played with Joel Embiid.

This is the most brain dead take ever. It wasn't solely about his absolute refusal to shoot. It was more about the fact that he didn't improve at all in his entire career even though he was blessed with all the natural talent in the world. Why do you think Philly loves and embraces guys like Maxey and Jalen Hurts? Because they're the exact opposite of everything Ben Simmons represents.
