Austin, I too attended York for the first time this year as a guest of a new model RR friend. As you said it is over whelming. There was more American Flyer equipment than I have ever seen in my life. A great experience and one I hope to do again next year. I will likely not be in a position to jion TCA next fall. If you atten in FAll 2022 maybe you can arrange a meeting of your subscribers who are also attending. I would enjoy meeting you in person. I am only about 3 hrs away in the Shenandoah Valley near Winchester, Va so it was not the long haul you had to make. You must live somewhere in the Mid West or far NE states.

You have a great fun and informative channel. Your love of model trains and American Flyer especially is evident from your YouTube videos. I like the way you are willing to take on a project to fix or repair items even "where angels fear to tread". -- you show your mistakes and your successes.. It is obvisous that you enjoy this great hobby. Keep the videos streaming and the trains rolling.

Some nice finds! Never been to York but I have been to the Amherst show a few times and that’s also a very nice and fairly large show. Hoping it happened this coming Jan.

I watched a video here on you tube that was advertising that the next show spring of 2022 they will allow anyone to attend. This is the first time in Yorks history that they will do this for just this show trying to get more people interested in the hobby.

Not sure you've ever been to the Dupage County show in Chicago burbs but they claim to be the largest show in the US. Haven't been there in 30yrs but plan to go back. In warm weather they have tables in the parking lot, open to the public

ps: My best buy at York was the operating RPO car (red) w/post/trip/button but no mail bags. I need at leat 2 bags. There is a large train show in Chantily Expo Center i Northern VA (-DC Metro area) in Dec. It is only about an hour from my house. I hope to pickup a few then. ( on the other hand I think it should be easy to make some out of silcon once I have one in hand.)
Do you know the weight and dimensions of the bag?
