I haven’t listened to this in over 20 years. Lordy. Like a salve for the soul.

Written by one of the great songwriters of his generation: Rodney Crowell.

I stepped on a piece of glass when I was 12, the Doc gave me his walkman to listen to with Bob Seger in it to distract me. Every time I hear him it takes me back.

Thanks for keeping great music alive!

I love how seger allows an instrument to shine in all of his songs. That piano was killer!

This is a good song, but by far the best songs by Bob Seger are about being on the road: Turn the Page, Travellin' Man, & Roll me Away.

This song by popular country singer-songwriter Crowell would emerge as a major mainstream hit in late 1982 for Bob Seger:

Only Bob Segar can sing Come to Poppa and then sing a song like this shows you how multi layered he knows people are.

Love the piano solo on this song - one of my favorite Bob Seger tunes.

I'm a Michigan native and grew up with listening to Bob, the older I get, the more I relate to Bob. He is awesome.

The tremendous songwriter Rodney Crowell wrote this song, then recorded himself a while back with new lyrics in a redux, just to show us how brilliant a musician he is in his own right. Worth looking up, man.

This in the only song I ever sang doing Karaoke. At least one gal clapped. Written by Rodney Crowell who had a minor hit with it in 1980. Love it.
