Good summary, but you forgot to mention Vini Jr. besides winning the Champions League, he also won the UEFA Europen Supercup, the second most pretigious award after the UCL. He won the Spanish Supercup, La Liga title, Champions League ans UEFA supercup. All in 2023/2024. If Real Madrid won as best team, it´s because of Vini Jr´s contribution. How does Rodri compare to this?

If Rodri got it because he scored some goals despite being mf, then how come Bellingham doesn't deserve it. Even in Euros where Bellingham played no.10 had more defensive contribution than Rodri. Every year there may be controversy regarding ballon d'or, but mostly it's close. Even if you don't agree with who won, it's a close competition. This year it's a complete different story. Rodri shouldn't even be in Top 5.
