Love it. No reason a perfectly healthy person in their 20s should be forced to pay for such broad coverage that include covering so many things that are extremely unlikely to come up.

We'll great.   Healthy young people can purchase low cost insurance that pretty much doesn't cover anything unless you are about to die.  Older folks and unfortunate younger folks with chronic illness will now be priced out of care. More than 50% of bankruptcies in America before the ACA were from health care cost and the majority of those did have insurance.  American Health care is about corporations and healthy people paying nothing into the system and when one does get sick they take all the assets one has accumulated over their life and bankrupt you.   We all seem to forget your mom, dad, husband, wife, children, grandparents, and yourself will all at some point need care.  Better prepare to hand over your house and retirement fund if you get sick, or setup a go fund me account which the majority of those are for.... surprise medical costs.

This report is misleading and narrow. It is focusing on the "Skinny Plan" and uses a 400ish dollar a month average.

I am a family of 5 and don't even pay that much. I would like to see where that number came from.

Also the Skinny Plan is not elaborated on. Cheaper is rarely better. Insurance companies operate on risk vs cost models. Many of these cheaper plans have a blackout period for instance. meaning you buy it today but until they recoupe a sufficient amount you can not use it. So you pay 100 a month but can't use it for a year even though it is slimmed down already. This is just one example but to just focus on price is a lack of information.

Good thing Americans never research anything. They listen to the news and just do as they are told. Otherwise this clip would be highly questionable as a resource haha

Everyone should be covered for catastrophic, but that doesn’t cost much. Routine or maintenance is the biggest cost to insurance.

pharmacuticals, pharmacies, Hosp, Drs, Phycisians of any license, need to stop the greed for stock holders, board members & themselves. Even if they have to B forced under govenment control, Insurance Co. need to step back & reduce premiums, they also multi millionairs & billionairs.
