How the low cost Passive Solar Distiller SalStill from Voltek Water works.

Voltek Water has launched a low cost, low maintenance Passive Solar Distiller (SalStill) to help alleviate the chronic shortage of safe drinking water in rural areas. In most developing countries, sophisticated technologies such as Reverse Osmosis are not viable due to high maintenance costs and low technical expertise.
The SalStill requires no filters, no pumps, no electric and is designed to produce 15-20 liters of distilled water per day, sufficient for a single family home. Each home can be independently responsible for their safe drinking water with this gravity flow device.

oK so you heat the water through solar and the hot water travel through the panel into the collector with steam touching the cold glass will create fresh water.
