I seem to recall a guy named Michael Storer was in this race as well. Now what team did he ride for...?

FDJ might be the biggest failures of Vuelta. Demare couldn’t beat even limited sprint competition.

Euskatel and DSM missing, but to be honest, for Euskatel that just highlights a where they even here.

TJV! Whooo hooo! Legendary and so yes I agree with you.
Ineos haha I was with Scott emphatically. They lost the white Jersey and who cares if they had 2 riders finishing top ten? I’m sure with their budget they’re not satisfied.
Lastly, I was hoping to hear how wonderful Romain Bardet ❤️ is and did in his first Vuelta. DSM was at the Vuelta. They should have made it in the video.
Thanks, guys! Awesome job on the Vuelta coverage and live chats. You made it fun and informative.

AGREE with Ineos Room for Improvement!!

Loved this idea and your recap. Respectfully disagree on Burgos though. Were they not in the break almost everyday of Week 1, and what was the special award that one of their riders got at the end? They got most aggressive a couple of times, especially when Navarro crashed and fought back. But thanks again - love your videos!

i think you should’ve put Intermarché in legendary, on one of the stage Rafał Majka one, they had the most riders in the GC group even after doing an incredible tempo, stage 18 how Jan Hirt lived up to his potential and had a brutal pace for roughly 4 kilometers and even tho they didn’t have a top 10, trough Meinjes would’ve had one, it was safe to say they had the best Vuelta out of any team here

Sepp Kuss for GC so we can get an American GC win somewhere big? (When Primoz wants to chill of course)

JV might come with a weak team, but they did deploy their resources very smartly. They only showed up when it mattered. Much like UAE. I expected that we'll see this kind of "controlled" when needed at the future GT race. No more, suffocated the race with a train ala Sky/Ineos. Every day will be a battle to get to the breakaway so the race will be aggressive at every start of the stage. Plus, more and more breakaways will more likely make it to the finish line. With ITT become increasingly pivotal to put your rival in minutes, long-distance attacks will be another norm.

Excellent summary. I absolutely agree with the Ineos ranking (so at least one positive comment).
I do have 1 quibble (and maybe it should be a “?” tier), and that has to do with Moviestar.
It’s more of a question, who’s perspective are you ranking these, from the fans or the team’s? If I’m the director, I’m really bothered by the results based on the results. Yes, they did get 2nd on the podium and won a stage. But only Lopez made a significant attack on the final mountain stage, but that’s because Roglic was following Mas and let him go. Roglic had the legs and I think he could have easily won the stage but was playing it safe (see Roglic roaring up behind him as Lopez finished.
Getting 2nd on GC was certainly a great result. BUT Lopez’s abandon REALLY messed up all the good feelings. With the loss of 2 riders (especially Valverde) I think they excelled. But if I’m director, I’m not satisfied by the race and would place myself at Room for Improvement. It’s a really hard call. If you take away the “meltdown”, High Achievment would be my placement. But other than Roglic and Storer, my main memory will be Lopez getting off his bike.
Very thought provoking and well thought out. Well Done
