I was the DGA trainee (ie PA) on The Warriors. I have great memories of the cast and a not so great memory of the night when Thomas took off with his girlfriend holding up production. I didn’t know about his issues with Walter. I worked with him again years later and he started with an apology. I’ve always wished the best for him. He’s a really good actor. We all do stupid stuff when we’re young. I learned a lot from his mistake.

I had him as a professor in an acting class around 10 years ago at the New School in NYC. I will always remember not only how great of a teacher and expert of his craft I found him to be, but also his inspiring wisdom he often shared in such a personable way (such as in this short interview).

though they killed him off in the subway scene it was actually something that helped the movie get you more emotional.

For the longest time I always wondered why his name wasn't on the credits.

Inspite of what happened off set, I appreciate Waites' character Fox. I wish he hadn't died in the movie. His character was very put together and smart.

It takes a big man to admit he was wrong. Much love and respect to the actor. I wish it never boiled down to him being fired.I always wondered if The Warriors ever found out what happened to the Fox after the movie. Did the police go to Fox's family and make the death notification and did that get relayed to the warriors? Was there a funeral?

Tom Waites is man enough to admit to his mistake, and still laugh about it....That's cool! Great story Fox, you deserved better than meeting your maker in front of that TRAIN....

This explains why I didn't find him on the cast at IMDB.

I met this guy today along with most of the cast at A comic con in Massachusetts. I gotta say he's a real cool dude! He's very kind & generous he gave me & my brother a free autograph after my dad got something signed from the cast & it was a really nice experience. He told me to look out for my day and keep loving him which I will always do & I think that's really heartfelt for him to spread that kinda message. I really enjoy watching these behind the scenes clips with all the guys it's awesome. Thanks for allowing us to make great memories with y'all! God bless

"I remember the director talking about the reason Fox got fired. Something about them night seeing eye to eye on things. He was the concilier of the gang. You had to get rid of him anyway because he was the one that saw who shot Cyrus, remember? To have him out of the picture creates a mystery. The original story(from the book) was Fox & Marcey hooking up not Swan. Once a Warrior always a Warrior.
