the pics made out a card are only useful in emergency, because they wear very fast and your guitar ends full with little pieces of it :s

@rrgert4 No. It is made of metal, but it is made to cut plastic, like credit cards for example.

@rrgert4 This will cut out cardboard, we tried it yesterday with cardboard from the back of a notepad. Worked great! Don't know if cardboard makes a good guitar pick though.

Can you help please I've just invested in one of these. And on the 2nd go it's got the card jammed in one side of the press. What shall or can I do to release it please??

I'd rather have 40 dollars worth of my favorite picks than a 40 dollar contraption that turns credit cards into picks. I mean, it's not like I make it a habit to have old credit cards and used gift cards sitting around. Plus I've cut picks out of CC's before, and they're crappy.

They are 20 dollars. And if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to buy it. It's not included in your taxes or anything.
