I am taking my first software design class and I found the way you explained objects, prototypes, factory and prototype design patterns fairly easy to comprehend. Being brand new to software design, I did a lot of rewind/play. I had to listen to most of it two or three times in order for all your words to sink in enough to put the pieces together.
I couldn't find the closed caption option on your video, not sure if there isn't a cc? If there is no closed-captioning, as a constructive suggestion I would say that for those of us who are visual learners, having a real time transcript to read along with the video helps speed up comprehension tremendously.
I really enjoyed your teaching style, you are animated and obviously very knowledgeable, thank you for taking the time to create the video, I have saved it to my favorites. :-)

Hey Jesse, awesome tutorials. Has got me thinking on turn based game systems, i.e Pokemon, Golden Sun, Final Fantasy etc.

As someone who seems to know a fair bit about programming these kinds of gaming battle situations is there any games which stand out to you for having particularly well made battle systems?

When I say 'well made battle systems' I mean, interesting, well thought out battles using different kinds of characteristics etc.

Just kind of a general curiosity question, as I would be interested to see how different people/games companies implement Battles, or if they all use very similar algorithms, design methodologies.
