Thank you so much for your review. You are spot on and have exactly pin pointed the same problem I have been having at home. After two days my polish peels off. I think it's time for a new lamp.

Hi Karen I have bought the sensational polish to gel system, and i tried it with an essence polish, I had to use quite a few coats to get it to the desired shade but I followed the instructions curing each layer etc . But it doesn't seem feel 'hard' when I press my finger into my nail it can dent but it goes back to smooth, I was just wondering if your gel to polish manicures feel 'hard' like a regular gel polish should do ? I don't know if it's because of the sensational lamp I used that's included, or because it was an essence polish, have you tried it with an essence polish ?

You can turn the sensor off.... Hold the sensor button down (inside the lamp) while plugging it in. Then you can use the manual buttons, but thank you for the video. I have been contemplating purchasing one, but like you said, it's a lot of money, and I couldn't justify it.... But I think I will just get one. Thank you again.

Does anyone know if you can turn the timer beep off or disconnect it somehow? I find it very annoying, especially when flash-curing one finger at a time.

5 or so years later, whats your favourite lamp in the $200US/GPB range? Is this lamp still one of the best?
I definitely don't want that thick gel feeling you mentioned experiencing with the gelish polish.

Does this work work gel extensions or only gel nail polish

Hi if you want you lamp to work manually put hand in lamp when lamp comes on unplug the lamp then plug in again it will then work manually, you have to do this every time you use, as when you use again it will go back to auto, hope this helps

And it’s ok to use different brand of polish like opi and DND ?!!

Can this led lamp be used with all gel polish such as opi or cuccio as well as gelish?

No, you need at least 45 seconds because sometimes the gel that you put on your nails is thick. Spent a little bit more to get the original OPI not the the copy led lamps from China though.

God you paid a lot for it, you should have told me, i could have got it for you in Sallys (i have a card) on VAT free day ! I just thought that you had Sally's card. Mine has a UK plug. I use 30 sec for everything. Were you talking about me ? lol-your nail tech friend ha ha. I am glad it is working for you.
