#GianniCrea, the key master of the Vatican Museums, has the privilege of opening and closing the museums each day. He knows all 2,979 keys by heart. One of the highlights of his job is being the first to enter the Sistine Chapel in the morning and witness its beauty before visitors arrive.

The Sistine Chapel is famous for its stunning frescoes, including Michelangelo's masterpieces. It is also where cardinals gather for the conclave to elect a new pope. Gianni has a unique view of the proceedings from the #Vatican Museums, including the sight of black or white smoke indicating the voting results.

I went to the Sistine Chapel last year and I am still completely in awe. Michaelangelo for sure had the Hand of God on him. I will never forget seeing his work at Sistine Chapel.

Unfortunately, Michelangelo missed the great art work of Andres Serrano, "Piss Christ, " the crucifix submerged in urine. Fortunately however, the great art critic, Pope Francis, welcomed and honored Serrano within the walls of Michelangelo's masterpiece.
