The Third part of the question number 21@ 30:00 can also be solved as
Total number of combinations 11C5 - No girl 7C5 = 441

Ma'am I have a query please I need help...

Why we cannot get the right answer in this way when we are using the permutation formulae:-

Since we have to take 3 vowels out of 4 and 2 consonants out of 4:-

4P3×4P2

This gives us 288 which is obviously wrong, I want to know the actual reason why this formula fails in this question because in every word making type question we use permutation but why it fails here, What's the difference between the questions where we use permutation formulae to find the number of words and this type of question...

I have a query, why we didn't use permutation formula in first question why it is giving a different answer.... I mean in case of words we know that order is important then why we didn't use the permutation formula, and why it is giving the wrong answer...




I tried this method:- since we have to take 3 vowels from 4 and 2 consonants from 4...

But the answer in the boom is 2880 why my method is wrong I want to know it intuitively...someone please help me..
