The tag team match was pretty good. Rosa and Shida are probably the two best women AEW have right now (wrestling quality, crowd popularity and AEW's love for them) so it was obvious they would win, but it was still good and exciting to watch. I love Nyla. She's one of the best big woman wrestlers out there. I just wanted a little more from Jamie. She didn't do a lot in the match, and I know she has so much more to show. AEW seemingly just doesn't want to show us.
The championship match was a star making performance from Tay. She honestly carried this match. Not Britt's best match she's had. It was strange because she looked out of breath within the first 5 minutes and it felt like she was just going through the motions, rather than performing at her best. Tay has gotten so good in such a small amount of time. Her moves a crisp, sharp and clean. The downsides to this match was:
1) Everyone knew Tay wasn't going to win
2) The build was a traditional AEW women's storyline (face saves someone from heel beatdown)
3) Britt's performance and selling
4) Match slowed right down in like 5 minutes
5) The finish
Overall I feel like the show was good, but it definitely continued to show AEW weakness... their inability to book women properly. I was more excited for Tay to get the opportunity to wrestle at a PPV rather than the match, because it was obvious she wasn't going to win.
