For those who are wondering why the answer is negative in 11.2 it's because We are calculating the workdone by the Porter not the gravity so the force that The porter applied is in the same direction as the displacement that's why it's positive..

Ma'am in 11.2 the acceleration due to gravity should be in negative🤔

Mam i have a doubt luggage goes in upward direction, then it is acceleration due to gravity becomes - 9.8 ms¯² OR -10 ms¯². Value of g becomes negative. Here it is positive.

In example 11.2 why does we take acceleration as positive we should take it negative because the force is acting against the gravity so the 'a' should be negative why it's positive ?
