Devastating video shows a helicopter crash in the Hudson River in New York City. Objects that are believed to be rotors are seen falling into the river.
I blew up the video, in the upper right hand corner it plainly shows both blades attached to the swash plate. It also shows if you watch the blades separated from the chopper are still rotating as it falls to the water. A single blade would not do that. This is a catastrophic failure of the upper and lower unit. Bird strikes don’t cause this. This is caused by tremendous amounts of stress put on the aircraft sometime in its past causing metal fatigue.

Where is the video of before it broke apart, theres surveillance cam ALL OVER NYC. Why arent we allowed to see it, does it show a weapon was used?

It looks like a mast bump incident. Now, what caused the mast bump and why the tail was chopped off by the rotor, it could be a few reasons. The rotor head has clearly separated from that Bell 206L
