Good video. I think "FSR" has extended the lifespan of a lot of cards like the 2080 Super.
I know somebody who games on a 9900k & 2080 Super and he is still happy about what it can do. I own a 5800x3d & 4090 but I do most of my gaming on my rec room pc which is a ryzen 3600 & 3080.

That was the path i took (though only the normal 4080) and i also get roughly double the FPS when GPU limited in games. Btw, the 4080 undervolts really well!!

My coworker is selling me his used 2080 super for $150 on monday for a build meant to upgrade to a new card when i can save up more. 7600x cpu, 32gb ram, my goal is to at least have a solid rig for 1080p gaming and pcvr at low-med settings.

How much of a bottleneck would you say it is for my build? My previous setup was a rog zephyrus m15 with an rtx 2070 super Q(laptop version) and i was happy with that so as long as its on par or superior im happy.
