How to Find Stud Lengths For Rake Walls Fast

Gable roofs are held up by rake walls, which are composed of a series of right triangles. The CMPro app makes it easy to calculate all of your stud lengths ⬇️

1️⃣ Enter the pitch and push PITCH
2️⃣ Enter the run of the wall and push RUN
3️⃣ Enter the height of the base and push CONV then RISE
4️⃣ Keep pushing RISE to find all stud lengths

And remember, the calculator defaults to 16 inch on-center spacing for studs. If you want to change that, just enter the spacing you want and push STOR ➡️ 5
