You and I must have different definitions of the term “sounds amazing”.... I just had this installed and I think it sounds terrible. The sounds is very flat and has very little mid’s or high’s. It needs the ability to be tuned.

I paid just over $700 dollars for the system and the light kit and I’ve never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. The cool factor scores a 10, but the audio quality scores very low. This thing belongs on a child’s power wheel, NOT on a $70-80k truck. Save your money and just buy you a nice Bluetooth speaker to plug into the outlet in the bed.

I'm always worried about third party bluetooth connectivity since, if not done right, can often be a super pain in the ass. I was watching to see how complex it was to connect and then the video is spliced right after 1:50 at the very moment he is trying to connect the bluetooth. That is not a good sign.

Please note the sound in this video does not do the actual sound in person any justice! I have this on my 2024 HC and sure, if you’re expecting/wanting deep bass, this might not be for you. However, I find the sound pretty darn good for what it is. I’m not sure why so many people complain about the sound. When turned up, it’s VERY loud and clear. Sound explained - it’s high treble, medium-low bass. It’s more than sufficient for tailgating IMO.

As far as functionality, I find it very simple. The only thing I dislike is that as soon as you open the upper tailgate, if you had a song playing in your truck and didn’t press pause when turning your truck off (which no one does), it will start playing on your tailgate even if you powered it down during last use. Other than that, I enjoy it.

Thx for posting this I work for leonardtown Chevy Buick gmc and did a PDI on a Denali today with the multipro tailgate the cust. Opted for the multipro audio system but unfortunately it malfunctioned and failed to power on I’m glad to know it has leds in the remote to let you know it’s on. the install instructions failed to tell me that which led to quite a bit of wasted time

I am trying to play the music off of my device on top the kicker and my device is connected to it but it will not play the music loud it is still playing off of my device. What’s the next step to that ?

Tried these out today, sound quality on the speakers is pretty terrible.
Pretty cool when you just wanna hang out with family or friends and have some music playing in the background though
