I highly recommend getting a sewing machine and watching some sewing tutorials. I used to hate shopping for clothes because clothes never seem to fit me right or the sizes run big and the small are huge. Now, I just alter my clothes to give me a perfect fit. I also now make my own clothes too.

I love your try-on hauls. they are so inspirational even if couldn't pull off a single thing myself because granny and fat. :) What I loved most here was that pinkish tweed-looking jacket with raw trim that you were a bit unsure about.
