Pressurized Scepter Water Can... Great For Camping!

I saw this on YouTube and decided to try it for myself.

I went down to my local Les Schwab store and picked up a Schrader valve designed to go with an aluminum rim because it is longer and has a threaded sleeve. They normally would charge $9 for the valve, but they told me that the paperwork would cost them more than they would make in revenue so they just gave it to me. Brand new.

I picked up a half inch ball valve from Home Depot for about $6, and the tubing is for sprinkler systems and it cost me less than $2. It's 18 inches.

I discovered that I needed to make sure the can lid is tightened down well as well as the breather cap otherwise the pressure will drop. I had less than 5 lb of pressure and I achieved that level of flow.

I used a 19/64 drill bit for the Schrader valve. This is perfect because I had to really work to thread it in so as a result the seal is very tight.

To make it even more awesome, I picked up a 5 gallon and a two and a half gallon Scepter cans along with a Coleman Xtreme cooler and a nice storage box for only $60 thru my local Craigslist!

Enjoy at your own risk!

Don't forget the blow by oil from the compressor. You are drinking it.
