We twice came from behind to ensure a winning end to our summer US tour.

Inside the magnificent, sold out SoFi Stadium in LA, Barcelona took the lead early on through Robert Lewandowski, before Bukayo Saka drew us level. Saka then missed a penalty in an eventful first-half, before the Spaniards retook the lead through a deflected Raphinha free-kick.

Kai Havertz was in the right place at the far post to turn home Martin Odegaard’s header to level things up again before the break and we deservedly went ahead when Leandro Trossard arrowed home his shot from just inside the area. Trossard scored his second, finishing from Kieran Tierney's cross, before Ferran Torres briefly brought Barcelona back into it.

But Fabio Vieira ensured the scoreline had the gloss we deserved with a stunner late on.

Been so long since we played the likes of a team like Barcelona. Honestly a backup to Saka and maybe just maybe a striker for squad depth would be a welcome considering we have premier league and champions league running every week. Trossard was our best buy for a long time and that says alot I love Jesus zinchenk etc etc etc etc etc but man does this mean have a bright future yet no one says the importance I wish he stayed in more consistently at the end of the season we would have won the league

There are better times to introduce a player like Fabio, NOT when we are 2nil down. Give him such confidence building games when we are winning. Then slowly give him tougher situations.

I'm a big supporter of Viera, he's been great for us whenever he plays. We should not sell him, I feel the same about Tierney ... underrated player.

Man I think we shouldn't sell Tierney he is so good you can see in 2023 squad requires full backs like tomi and Kieran who can defend and can also make forward runs when required. Zini is more attacking and lacks defending and this squad already has attacking players in midfield like Kai, Rice and Martin. So why do we need a LB inverted to a CM or LM.
