I appreciate you kicking it off with a historical walk through! Very informative! Also, damn sexy cards! 🔥

Real fun to watch this old school box opened. I stopped after Homelands came out, so it was neat to see this opened. Thank you for sharing it Chewy! My daughter wasn't a fan of this opening though. She commented, "The cards look so old." I was about to say, wait til she gets to my age and see her cards from now, but then I stopped. I can't imagine MTG 30 years from now.

Awesome!! Nice to see all the old stuff. This is probably the best booster box opening right now!

LOVE that you brought up the SMELL. AGAIN Mirage/ Visions had their own smell that today 9/6/20 I CAN smell like I'm right there with you. The human mind is insane. Cool that this guy has the same regret of stopping just before the Urzas block. Cool thing is my dad collected sports cards so he continued to buy me starter decks for birthdays etc and I do have A Cradle. :)

Thanks for this video! I'm currently nearing the completion of my Visions full set and am looking forward to cube-drafting it. Love the fresh look and vibrant colors and the amazing artworks here. Good that you took your time with those gems, they're worth it.

Rudy would be proud. Old school sets are always the best openings.

This was a fun stroll down memory lane!

Old mtg art really is better than the current stuff for the most part.

Lots of sneaky value in this set!

Last set I opened heavily until Throne. Love the art in Mirage/this set! Takes me back to simpler days.
Thanks for THIS MAN!

What an amazing set, i was picking packs on my way home from high school :D My favorite quote in the whole history of magic is on a card from this set: Wand of Denial "You’ll never miss what you never had." - words to live by. Thank you for the great video and the kindness of the buyer to let you open it on camera!

As soon as you zoomed in on Mundungu, I immediately recognized the art as Terese Nielsen's. Her art style is one that most of us should easily identify if you've been playing long enough. I can also spot Rebecca Guay's art easily too.

That corner flip up is extremely common, to the point that I don’t think it affects the grade. It actually helps separate the counterfeits from the real deal.

I stopped playing after Weatherlight so I was playing Mirage and Visions when they came out. It was just as fun and crazy as you think it was.

Another fun fact, I believe this was the second set (after 4th) to be printed in Chinese and Korean. This was the start of all the major sets getting printed in the full suite of languages.

one of my favourite sets, my edh landfall valakut-adnaus-manabond combo deck makes use of some reserved cards in this set like undiscovered paradise and squandered resources.

I've never opened a single pack of this set. But picked up a complete set somewhere years ago. Don't even remember buying it.
