I just picked up the AJ Styles. I'm so happy they got this as a figure made. I was so happy to have watched him in TNA and on WWE Velocity.

Even though as you said, this one of the 4 will be the peg warmer, A late era WCW AJ Styles is really really cool. This series covers three promotions over 15 years. In march of 2001, when WCW closed its doors, I was in the 6th grade. I probably would have had no idea who AJ Styles was at that point b/c I had been done with WCW already, but I like everything about this figure. I hope we get more figures from this time period of late WCW in the future. Btw Kyle in 2001 reminds me of David Flair lol

Interesting little trivia tidbit - the art on this box is from a TNA Promo shot. I don't think AJ was around long enough in WCW to get promo shots taken!

Love to see it, as close as we can get to a Mattel TNA era AJ! Today is a good day! Asked a target employee to check the back for Ken shamrock, there was one in the back. It wasn't the chase blue so I left that one but did pick up the ultimate Brock Lesnar! And my legends wolf pack Scott Hall from macari was waiting for me when I got home

So wanted this AJ the minute it was announced as this is the closest we'll get really to a Mattel TNA Franchise version of AJ Styles. I know I am customizing this along with some current AJ jackets to make it more TNA maybe that is the idea behind this figure.

Got this and very happy to have it. Just cool having a young AJ figure, and in the look when I started watching him. It's plain but like that Survivor Series AJ you give him that soft goods shirt and it elevates the figure. Goes nicely with the young versions of current stars we've been getting lately like Orton, Brock, Cena and Drew.

I'll take any WCW era that I can get . This is one I never thought we'd be getting and I'm glad I picked it up. The figure is already shelf warming though . A lot of these Legends series are shelf warming and I hope this line doesn't get cancelled

I don’t have an issue with these type of throwback figures being made but they never seem to do well. That NXT Roman warmed really hard. Seth didn’t warm as much but still wasn’t flying off the shelves.
