I tried to get into the elevator trade, but they didn't want me. I was in my 30's, a navy vet, with around 8 years background as a licensed electrician/mechanic who worked in industrial maintenance. I had PLC, CNC, installation and some construction experience, plus tech college. You'd have thought the elevator companies would have gladly hired me, and I sent out several resumes, but I never heard a thing

I dont need an electrician van right since it's not like im piping wires cuz its not like im wiring a house? I hate driving with a passian and enjoy San Fransokyo (Im doing soft robots as a hobby) so SF is my dream city but is the worst for having a car. I figured maybe i only need to carry electrician backpack and SF has great transportation system.
