Types of Osmotic Solutions (Solutions Class-12; CBSE in English)

This video deals with the sixth topic of the second chapter (Solutions).
For the different types of osmotic solutions, two solutions are considered. The reason is, the osmotic pressure of the two solutions is compared and based on that they are classified as
1. Isotonic Solutions: Solutions having the same osmotic pressure at the same temperature
2. Hypertonic solution: When one solution has more osmotic pressure than the other, it is a hypertonic solution.
3. Hypotonic solution: When one solution has less osmotic pressure than the other, it is a hypertonic solution.
