I purchased a USB 3.0 external hard drive dock a few months back (for different reasons). Today, I thought it would be great to get started with server related videos again, so why not use this simple little dock to house the VMs on an external hard drive!

I have a few IDE Hard Drives lying around with me (both 80GB) and I'm considering using those drives for my Virtual Machine testing for VirtualBox.

I waa wondering if there are any hard drive docking stations etc. designed for IDE Hard Drives? Any suggestions? How about performance-wise?

I also have a disused Windows 7 PC that I will use for my VirtualBox VM testing. That PC is about 9 years old. Any suggestions?

hello PC-addicts, can you please help me with my default switch since updated my win10 Pro, i seriously don't want work in my homeLab anymore. I can't modify or delete it and other servers can't join the domain any longer. thanks
