I waited nearly 3 weeks for my Whitestone Dome protector to arrive. Fitted it yesterday and i couldn't get it to even register without pressing extremely hard so removed it and spent the day stressing about wrecking my screen, man i was so PISSED OFF considering all the videos showing it working . Was just in the process of submitting a return but decided to give it another go and
IT WORKS ! even without increasing touch sensitivity and recognition is improving every use. I didn't do anything differently in the install process either. just setting it up with both thumbs as 1 print and both index fingers as another so can use 4 fingers to unlock.

just two fingerprint per finger. one for finger head second for finger pulp. it works really well. just make sure using the method in this video to check if it's record correctly.

This is great. I'd also recommend disabling screen transition effect located in the biometrics preferences. It makes access when using fingerprint feel much faster.

Just tap the screen dont think it was intended for you too hold it down....I just tap the screen opens super fast ....and really accurate always open

I was a little bit desperate I bought such expensive devise and the scanner didn't work as fast as I expected. But this video really helped me to register my fingerprints right and now it's much better. Also the increasing touch sensitivity really helps.

Just turn on 'Touch Sensitivity' in Display options. This made the fingerprint scan work so much better. Didn't need to go through and scan my fingerprint multiple times. Only time it really messes up now is when I don't hit the right spot on the scanner. Navigate to Settings > Display and turn on Touch sensitivity. Since it comes with a pre-installed screen protector it causes issues with the scan. Turning this on makes it more sensitive, which will lead to better results with just a tap.

My S10+ shipped with a screen protector on it. I do not really like screen protectors as they scratch easily, and I like the feel of the glass. I scanned both thumbs before I cam across this video, but actually used the method you talked about. I will say that as soon as I took the "Factory" screen protector off, both thumbs worked great for unlocking the phone every time with by just tapping it., as well as gestures to go Back, home, and close all apps work flawlessly now. This video was a great tutorial.

You can also increase touch sensitivity from settings. I've done it and it works faster now
