Nice video. Wynwood is a former industrial area that became neglected. The late Tony Goldman, owner of the Wynwood Walls, helped revitalize the area by purchasing distressed properties and rehabilitating them. He also helped revitalize SOHO and South Beach.

The place is completely transformed! I can remember when it was all warehouses way back when

but a part of me does wonder if the emphasis on art galleries has been lost. years ago i went there and it was great how you could nearly just walk up to artists working and chat them up. some of them were even kind to give away t-shirts and small things like that. very much ingrained into the whole hipster subculture (has that died down?). now from videos it seems much more nightclub and party oriented, which still seems like a good time, in a different way.
