Hey Ansh!

Thank you so much for putting all this content out on the internet for free, have been following your playlists for quite a long time now and as engineering student at VIT your journey inspires me to learn and create my personal brand.

Coming to My Top Learning’s from this video-

❇️ In today’s world use a combination of both AI tools and design tool to step up your design work. (Mobbin, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude)

❇️ Before starting any project always understand the true or core purpose behind it and for this you need to have good questioning ability.

❇️ Have a planned approach - research well about existing competitors, features, etc and also know what deadline or limitations you are working within and plan accordingly

❇️ Think first then design.

As a UX/UI designer intern, this video couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve followed Ansh for ages (even got to meet him twice at event and still fanboying! 😅), and his framework for starting UX projects is exactly what I needed. The Mobbin competitor analysis tip saved me hours of Googling screenshots, and the PRD checklist will help me align with our dev team on a personalised nutrition app we’re building here. Winning a Mobbin sub would be a game changer for nailing those UI patterns! 🙌

This Mobbin tutorial was exactly what I needed! I was having trouble understanding how to combine the category and platform filters, but your explanation was so clear. Now I can quickly find relevant examples to show clients, and I feel much more confident presenting design options. Thanks for making this.

Here’s what stood out for me,
1) Engage stakeholders to clarify goals and align from the start.
2) Analyze competitor apps via Mobbin to identify best practices and gaps.
3) Ask deeper questions to uncover intent for effective design solutions.
4) Focus on must-have features to meet business goals.
5) Maintain a clear branding and design system.
6) Engage users and stakeholders to refine concepts.
7) Set clear timelines for deliverables and accountability.

Hey Ansh,

I'm a huge fan of your videos and your explanations. Not only do I learn about UI/UX, but I also try to emulate the way you speak and present your points. It's almost like you're not real (that's a compliment!). I'm incredibly grateful to have your videos as a resource while I'm learning UI/UX.
P.S.: Never stop making videos, ever!

Thanks for this video because it's very informative for UX designers. Here's my key learning points
from the video:
1. Whenever start any product designing first
- Understand scope of project
- Understand problem statement
- Check who is the competitor
- Check core benefits
- Check which stage is the company right now

2. How to plan UX Research
- Target Audience, Competitor Insights to check flow of app/website, Priority for all features, Check design system, understand Brand Identity
- Reserch of any product to spend at least 1 week going deeper to understand what's problem statement.

3. Creating PRD Structure
4. Document each & every necessary detail about the product in Notion.
5. List out all Questions to ask your stakeholders (CEO/Developers/Product managers)

Great to hear refined thoughts finally. Learning from this video:
1) Understanding the crux of problem and asking why.
2) Defining a thin line between hypothesis and assumptions
3) Collaborate with developers from the start of the process
4) Be within the bound of guidelines and frameworks
5) Abstraction is a great exploration but with certain metrics in mind
6) distinguish between design metrics and bussiness metrics
7) speak and learn the simple language to communicate for different stakeholders

Also i would like to see how UX research will innovate with AI, as most of the industry and people treate is as a service and include it later in the process?? what do you thinks folks?? Thanks for this video it'll certainly helping me shift my mind towards how to apply designs for people rather than creating directionless screens.

I truly admired the focus on creating thoughtful design briefs, the emphasis on understanding the 'why' behind every design choice, and the practical approach to conducting thorough design research. It was both inspiring and highly actionable!
As a beginner UX designer, my top 5 learning are:

1. Always focus on understanding the user's needs, behavior, and pain points before jumping into design.
2. Engage stakeholders to clarify the project scope, target audience, and success metrics. Asking "Why" behind every feature ensures purposeful designs.
3. Design is never perfect in one go. Create, test, get feedback, and refine continuously to achieve the best results.
4. Ensure the product's core features and usability are solid before focusing on visual appeal and aesthetics.
5. Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders, and keep track of every decision and feedback through proper documentation.

My learnings from this video are:
1. Understanding why we need to do what we are doing
2. Collaborate with developer and client to align the goals and to know what we can do
3. Must to have features must be prioritized
4. Fundamentals about the product should be clear
5. Spend more time on research

I just got my first client to work for. I really didn't knew where and how to start from and then this series drops. This really gave me clarity how and what to do. Please keep this going. Forever grateful.

MY Top Learning:
As a UI/UX designer, I learned how to tackle projects properly. Among many ideas, highlighting the importance of asking the right questions to stakeholders, performing serious competitive investigation using tools like Mobin, and setting up a detailed product requirement document (PRD) come to mind. The video emphasizes that before taking any action in detail, one should know business goals, target audiences, and technical limitations. Furthermore, the important issue of documenting design work and cooperating smoothly with developers and product managers. Following the framework in this video, novices will get a firm start in their UI/UX design careers.

I think the most value this video provides is being able to relate the already known design process to how different designers approach that and how they do it and that makes this stand out

My top learnings
1.Trying to stay in a constant loop with your developers and managers.
2. Focusing on the functionality of the product more than the visual appeal.
3. How to take advantage of the resources available online.
4. Documenting every little detail necessary for the product.
5. Most importantly knowing your stakeholder's vision and studying your potential users and shaping the product according to their needs.

Hello Ansh, your videos have always been infomative and this one wasn't a let down either.
Studying UI/UX all this time through your videos has made me progress a lot in my work. At this point I feel like you and your knowledge in this field is more reliable than those AI tools.
Will be waiting for Part 2!!!

FInally built up some courage to restart my Design career. Im already working in a startup without any clear idea. i am also a lone designer. So right now as a day 1, I learnt a lot. some of the points aligned very well as to my current career life.

Some of points that I liked and match my current situation are:
- I need to do bit more research for the company to understand more clearly. now that I got to know how can I use chatgpt for what type of questions. i have gained some confidence.
- Need to finalize the color palette for our company. I've fixed some, but haven't fully finalized and eliminated other colors.
- Need to check with user flows more to differentiate and improve our app from direct competitors.

Currently, these are fine for now. I'm planning to start a random project and start along with this video.

My top learnings are
1. Understand why we are building this app or say websites and securing that how it gonna work via undersranding that what we want to do and what actually we can do

2.getting sorted with our organisational goal and clearing what are our reward to succses and whar are our constraint

3.we need to be clear how our actual user are gonna use this app/website and what are their goals to use it and what are things that we can do to attract them to use our app over the our competitors

4.what are features we need and categorizing them to must have features and nice to have features to priortize actual goal of our project

5.finaly curating insights by researching our competitors by studying there user interaction and identify what they are doing better and what are the yhings where they are lacking at.
