NEW TRAXXAS Sledge 6s -First Real Pounding and Durability test!!😱

Out for a first pounding with the new Traxxas Sledge 1/8 6s! A few parts of this design I really like but there is definitely flaws in other areas! Overall the truck held up nice and drove amazing! I ran a 17 tooth pinion from the stock 13 tooth. The tires did end up ungluing and the spur stripped but Hopefully M2C Racing will have a solution soon!! I really like the body and the mounting system along with the battery tray system! Makes for a super quick battery change!
Looking forward to the upcoming M2C and Basherqueen parts for this rig!💪🔥

footage!! i like the motor mount, i like how its fully supported. I've killed so many motors on rigs were its only held on one end. Maybe a hybrid system could work? conventional style mount with the traxxas style all in one. Saves gears and motors! maybe

That was a killer run with that thing man I’m really enjoying mine I was going to gear mine up but after feeling the motor without that little black piece that seems to keep the motor straight I was hesitant but that was definitely a great run buddy.

Just ran mine for the first time today! I over did it on my XMAXX and put to many upgrades making it to heavy causing so many breakages. It sitting in pieces in a box now. I’m going to try and keep this one a bit more stock as t becomes a pain having to fix one every time out. Did the same w the Mojave! Kept the Maxx stock and it rarely breaks. Not to say upgrading is wrong for everyone by any means but it’s finding the balance so it can be fun w out breakages all the time! Love what you do jj

The truck takes some beatings, I like it and it appears strong. Is this finally the one that competes with Arrma tough?
In my opinion, unfortunately Traxxas budget gives more to marketing than engineering but I wish the best for all top level RC brands and no matter what, we all get better with competition.
The greatest fun is swapping parts across the spectrum and designing our own frankenbeast with whatever we have on hand.
Fun is fun... especially when it's fast and strong and wild.

And finally, a true proper bash for this new thing. Definitely took a beating but not as tough as a Kraton out the box obviously. Cool features but arrma still holds the crown for overall bashing imo. Your ability to drive these cars full throttle like you do, is as always, very impressive. Good stuff as always Eric!!
