Recalling a moment in...I think 1986...walking past Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at the the SDCC with FF48, 49, and 50...and not wanting to bother them because they were talking.

I remember meeting Stan 3 times to get books signed. Still have the AF 15 and only 1 ASM #1 left.

I have two Stan Lee signed books and my pride and joy is my Milestone X-Men 1 signed by both Stan Lee (CGC) and Jack Kirby (Dynamic forces) :)

CGC will say on the label - Name written on Cover "Jack Kirby" so not witnessed by them.

I have one Stan Lee signed book and it is FF 10. Since he made himself a character in the book itself I really thought it made his signature most appropriate.

Although not a fan of signed books, I appreciated the pricing part of this video. Any chance you could do one about pricing what I call the "oddities" of comic collecting like Mark Jewelers Inserts, double covers, Canadian & US regional price variants, comics previously owned by famous people, & the like? It's difficult to get a good idea on the value of some of these things. GPA has some info, but it is truly hit or miss like with the signed books. Just wondering, thanks!!!

Great Haul Ryan, I don’t own a signature book but I think they’re awesome, I absolutely love Stan, I know he signed a lot but it’s still so cool. The only thing I will say is I’d prefer it on the back of the book, or on the inside if they at all exist. Sometimes depending on placement and quality of sig I feel it can slightly detract from the art.

Have about 6 Stan Lee signatures but my 2 favorite are ASM 252 Newsstand 9.6 and an ASM 121 6.5. Neither did Lee write directly but key books nevertheless

Great content! Question, I have a Hulk 181 7.5 CGC (GPA lists 7.5 blue label at $7K) Stan Lee signature and Spidey sketch. What value would you put on that one. Thanks!! Keep up the great work.

I fell like signed books can be a good way to invest without spending tens of thousands of dollars.

I might be the exception here but signed books are definitely not for me. Makes me cry when I see stan’s scribble across the front of a silver age grail. That guy would sign a piece of toilet roll for a buck. Each to his own I suppose

Other than dead people I will not pay more than 75$ for a signed comic unless there is 3ed party proof it sells for more. Suck becouse it can double or triple the cost of a comic right now.
