Wow, the mother-and-son relationship of Jesus and Mary is amazingly beautifully portrayed in The Chosen! Indeed, the series humanizes the two of them, emphasizing their interactions as shown in the Gospels. Happy mother's day to each and every mother out there! Can't wait for the public release of Season Four as well! Shalom, shalom.

This is the scene that did it for me. I grew up Catholic and attended Catholic schools, but I fell away from God in the years since. I had seen some of the episodes from seasons 1-3 and enjoyed them, but it was the moment Jesus says "also human" that hit like a ton of bricks. KNOWING He was 100% human as well as 100% Divine is so much different than knowing it. The frustration he expresses here is so eye opening. We're so used to seeing Him portrayed with overwhelmingly heavy doses of divinity in other projects. Y'all have balanced the two elements perfectly. There's something inside us - the soul maybe?- that recognizes how accurately the essence of Jesus Himself is captured in Jonathan's portrayal. It has renewed my faith, and I'm so grateful to y'all for that.

Such a beautiful moment between these two. I have loved how Dallas, Ryan, and Tyler have written the relationship between Mama Mary and Jesus, and how Jonathan and Vanessa portray them on screen. It feels so real.

It's "The Chosen's" portrayal of the human nature of Jesus that has attracted me so strongly to the programme. All too often, teachings have been overweighted towards His divine nature, so that we have failed to realise how human, like us, Jesus is.

As a full grown 56 year old man, THIS, like the entire series of "The Chosen" has me absolutely bawling like a little child, yet at the same time, grinning from ear to ear.
Thank you always for your labor of love in bringing Jesus, His words, even THE WORD to life for me and so many others in such a fresh and understandable way. Thank you Heavenly Father, Jesus my Saviour, and the Holy Spirit for being with me always.
And, thank you again, Mom, for loving us kids as only you could. I miss you so much, but I know you are home with Jesus, and you will never know pain or disappointment again.
Don't worry, Mom, all of us kids will be along shortly, whenever God says it's our turn...Love you!!!
