Tektronix will always have a special place in my heart. They certainly know how to build awesome test gear, especially oscilloscopes

Today is about the software. The High freq staff is very complicated (probing) and narrow range of people needed.The modern A/D-s are covering 80 percent of the needs. ( Chienese still having issuses with the frontends.)
Automated measurents (problem focusig), data collection, battery, education features.
Smaller cheap versions they canbe intagrated into automated environment. Go no go simple type.
To help Engineers tho get things documented faster, and allow them to spend time on the more important things.
If I need digital decoding I just use specialised USB hardwre on PC.
I have Keysight by the way. And some old Tektronics.

A little discussion on bandwidth, memory depth, linkage to printer, ARBgen, standard included math, etc.. OK, it looks pretty.. and handy.. but what will it do. It sure looks nice!
