How to Connect Python to Snowflake using ODBC

In this episode, we're going to look at how to use ODBC with Python to connect to Snowflake. In the past, we did most of our work using the Snowflake connector for Python, but it isn't always the case that developers can use the connector. In many cases, developers are already using ODBC for many other databases and connections and they want to use ODBC for their Snowflake work as well, to standardize their project. ODBC is a solid foundation for connecting to all databases, all databases support it, and Snowflake is no exception. Let's go download the ODBC driver, install it, install pyodbc, and then get to work doing some CRUD on Snowflake!
