Years later and you're still making lives easier. I never considered doing it this way and I just finished getting a perfect fit and finish thanks to this video.

Dammit man!! Thank you for this... LIFE SAVER. I DID NOT want wires hanging out of my glove box nor did i want to render my AUX/USB port useless. Blessings to you!

Don't know why I'm watching this, but I loved every second of it. Nice work.

"These Hyundai clips are like THE strongest clips on the planet" - Perfect timing on this comment! LOL THUMBS UP for several reasons. This video was to the point, you fast forwarded thru the non critical parts (but slow enough to see what you were doing - I could do this disassembly based on what you showed) and you TOOK THE TIME TO PROTECT the customers car. Outstanding. My only criticism...you really could have had a nasty cut the way you cut that USB cord! Thanks for sharing! I would trust you with my car in a heartbeat.

I like the attention you guys spend on not screwing up the customers car.

Thanks for this video! I referenced it to retain my Toyota's USB/Aux jack. When I brought it to the installer, he asked me I bought the the part from Amazon. I told him I refitted it myself. Keep it up guys, your videos are Great! Wish your shop was near where I live so that I could recommend it to my friends and go there myself!

Just wanted to say thank you for this. I was told by so many that the factory aux and USB wont work from my 2020 kia Optima special edition to my pioneer avh2300nex. Well did exactly what you did changed few little details as mine located in a different location. Came out perfect cant even tell anything was done. Thanks for all you do

How does this video say "retain FACTORY inputs" when the first that was taken out was the FACTORY inputs...

Do you plug the other end into the back of the radio?

I looked at the other alternatives such as buying a specific pcb to retain compatibility it costs around 110$, also buying a harness but it can be a mess to make work android auto and carplay. This is a very good solutionI might do that instead

grr just had the kenwood ddx 9016 dbs installed in my Hyundai in Tasmania Australia. and the guys said they couldn't use the usb and aux jack.... i paid top dollar for install but all they did was feed it into the console and also into the glove box.. not exactly what i would call a custom no creativity. well done to you guys for doing a top job :)... ps they also scratched my dash im moving to the US to get reinstalled hahahahah

So I enjoyed this. Great work. One important thing that you didn't cover, is what did you do with the existing wiring harness?

Enjoy your videos. This one is exactly what I was looking for. I am upgrading my daughters head unit in her 2016 Jeep Renegade and wanted to retain the factory USB/Aux in the dash. The only place I could find a "hub" replacement card was from Connects2 in England (approx $80 to get it to me here in US). I was thinking of trying this approach but was a little tentative. After seeing your video I am now confident in doing it this way. Now just have to figure out how to get the USB/Aux module out of the dash. I do have a question for you. Where do you get the flush mount Aux cable? The ones I am finding all have too big of a head. Again, love your videos!
