Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

24:36, Turhan reminds of young Kosem. Brave, smart and ambitious. Kosem slightly proud of her, but the different of both of them. Turhan know the time to stop, before becoming an absolutely power.

Thats why a weak Ibrahim cannot loved and adore Turhan, cause remind him to his own mother.

Kosem became the very thing she hated. When she lied to Turhan, it reminded me a lot of how Halime broke her promise regarding her sons and the throne.

Hurrem and mahidevran wasn't a good compare, but turhan and kosem, these both women have brain, know how and when to act. But turhan was a little bit more good as when Mehmed matured, she didn't fight with him for power but let him rule freely as compared to Kosem.

Dunno why many people compare Hurrem with Kosem. Kosem was much stronger, she was a woman of state, ruled the state, from this view she was way stronger than Hurrem. Hurrem had a beautiful love story with Suleyman, different era, different approach, she was more of a loving wife and carrying mother, Kosem was more of a ruler, a very good one if we think that Kosem's time was difficult, full of rebellions, corruption, she fought very hard times. In my opinion, Kosem is the strongest of Sultanas the Ottoman Empire had.
