Never saw a frame fail like the prototype. That can't be great advertising... Glad you're okay BK!

Hope you're ok and hope that failure doesn't hurt Pivot's amazing reputation

My taste: 62 degrees head angle, 80 degrees seat angle, -10mm BB drop, 490mm CS, 200mm front and rear travel for a more allround DH bike.

Finally caught a glimpse of the linkage working on recent EdBull TV video. Crazy.

Any bike is going too snap if you case a triple as hard as BK did !! Failures & mechanicals are part of the sport .. just glad he’s not more seriously injured after such a hugie

The headtube joins the down and top tubes in parallel, obviously going to pull apart. Great job Pivot, NOT

Smart play building a bike with lugs. You can change and angle you want and CNC new lugs and build a new bike. You aren’t stuck with miles and a overseas factory making your frame. Guessing this will never make it to production though

No matter how new the carbon linkages are they always immediately look "dated" to me. I don't know why. Giant Cadex or something like that. I'm not an anti-carbonist revolutionary but there's just a not-timeless look to them, like, they are released and immediately like, yeah, "That was the time. Back in the day when...." Except we're playing along like they'll be out an about like a Giant Cadex the local homeless dude put together at the bike co-op with people telling him how valued he is whilst they "source" him some Suntour thumbies or a sweet Wald basket he can carry his Meth and Natty Ice in. If this bike could carry meth and Natty with something Suntour might test ride it in the pkng lot and also not pee in the tyres when I refresh the sealant.
