"I don't need a ride I need ammunition" was the moment I knew Russia wasn't going to win

As a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces who has six family members of Ukrainian ancestry, I couldn't be prouder of our good neibours to the south of us. God Bless America and Canada who share the longest undefended border in the world.

Zelenskyy is probably one of the only world leaders willing to go out of his way to help his country. He is probably one of the bravest leaders especially for only being 45. He could’ve made peace with Russia, but chose to stand and fight for his country’s freedom. Also he learned English so it shows he went out of his way to ask for help. We must help Ukraine!!

Makes me so sad that the Ukraine people won’t have much of a Christmas. The thought that the people of Ukraine will be cold. Please god help our brothers and sisters of Ukraine

The fact alone that this man has lead his country in the process of beating (previously) one of the strongest countries in the east, is nothing short of remarkable. May Ukraine continue to win and stay free.

He's way better at English than I ever imagined. If this dude can sound like a rugged mafia boss while defending off one of the biggest militarys in the world then...good for him I guess.

The poor man - you could see the stress of the war and his burden of leadership etched in his every feature. A courageous, honourable man.

As retired military I have the utmost respect for him as a true leader. Think about it. He went from a comedian to being a leader of a war started by one of the largest world military forces against a country that was no threat.

I absolutely love the fact that Zelensky wore green instead of a suit and tie. Showing that he is at war and not on some field trip abroad. So much respect for this wartime president 👏
