Piloting the boat through those floodgates without taking your foot off the gas, was pretty impressive! And that kingfisher...and the kestrel, buzzard and everything else, captured forever through the eyes of an artist in both prose and paint! Very nicely done! Cheers!

I see I am not the only one who anxiously awaits your calming, intriguing videos. 😎When I awoke this morning, I looked out the window and immediately saw a duck disappear beneath the surface of the lake and indeed it was a cormorant, not unheard of although not often seen. I live 100 + /- miles from the Atlantic Ocean and am connected to the ocean by the James River as well as the Chickahominy River that has many marshes and wetlands. I see many Canadian geese, ducks (some white), egrets and blue herons in season. Blessings to you, Mr. M. and your beautiful dog. Your East Coast USA Friend.
